Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all vehicles meet company quality standards before dispatch.
- Manage Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) activities.
- Conduct final inspection and testing of assembled e-bikes before release for dispatch.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality checklists, inspection procedures, and testing standards.
- Monitor and reduce defects, rework, and warranty failures through systematic quality control.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Procurement teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper testing of critical components such as batteries, controllers, motors, chargers, brakes, lights, and wiring harnesses.
- Maintain records of inspections, test reports, rejections, and corrective actions.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and report recurring issues.
- Train assembly operators and inspectors on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Ensure traceability of chassis numbers, motor numbers, battery numbers, and controller batches.
- Conduct periodic process audits and quality audits on the shop floor.
- Support warranty analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce field failures.
- Ensure all vehicles released for dispatch have successfully passed PDI and are free from defects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 5–8 years of Quality Management experience in EV, Automotive, or Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Quality Tools (7 QC Tools, 8D, FMEA, SPC, CAPA).
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification preferred.
