Collect blood samples and other specimens from patients following standard procedures.
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection with minimal discomfort to patients.
Conduct home sample collection visits as per assigned schedules.
Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of samples.
Maintain sample integrity during collection, storage, and transportation.
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Coordinate with laboratory staff for timely processing of samples.
Maintain records of collected samples and patient details accurately.
Handle biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines.
Provide courteous and professional service to patients during hospital and home visits.
Ensure collection kits and equipment are properly maintained and stocked.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and sample handling.
Experience in home sample collection is preferred.
Good communication and patient interaction skills.
Knowledge of infection control and safety standards.
Ability to travel for home collection assignments.
Basic computer knowledge for record maintenance.
Qualification:
DMLT / MLT or relevant certification in Laboratory Technology.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist.
Preferred:
Experience in hospital diagnostic laboratories.
Two-wheeler and valid driving license for home sample collection visits.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.24 per month
