Job Summary:
We SD Engineering, are looking for a Structural Design Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of structural components for various projects. This includes buildings, bridges, industrial facilities, and other structures, ensuring that they meet safety, reliability, and sustainability standards. The role involves using advanced software, conducting site visits, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, project managers, and other engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis:
- Design structural components and systems for various structures (e.g., buildings, bridges, towers, industrial structures).
- Perform structural analysis and simulations to evaluate materials' and components' strength, stability, and durability.
- Use design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000, Revit, or others to create detailed design models and drawings.
- Technical Documentation:
- Develop design plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Prepare structural reports, calculations, and analyses to demonstrate compliance with codes and regulations.
- Ensure that designs meet local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs with overall project plans.
- Attend design meetings to coordinate design activities and resolve any structural design challenges.
- Perform field inspections to verify the integrity and safety of structures during and after construction.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure designs are in compliance with relevant building codes (e.g., AISC, ACI, Eurocodes) and environmental regulations.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with structural designs and construction processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve design methods.
- Quality Assurance:
- Perform design quality assurance reviews.
- Evaluate the use of new materials and technologies to improve structural efficiency and sustainability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Experience in working on large-scale railways, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software (AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, Revit, etc.).
- Familiarity with materials such as steel, concrete, and timber.
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, load path, and failure modes.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
