Key Responsibilities:
Install and Maintain Electrical Systems: Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial, and industrial settings, ensuring that systems are functioning correctly.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
Upkeep Records: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
Customer Service: Communicate with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Code Compliance: Stay updated on electrical codes and regulations and ensure all work complies with applicable standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training.
- Valid electrician's license in accordance with local regulations.
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
