AccountantJob Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, handling vendor and guest transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal financial procedures. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage financial activities efficiently in a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record, verify, and maintain all financial transactions accurately.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash transactions, and financial records regularly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, bills, receipts, and vouchers.
- Monitor and track operational expenses and budgets.
- Handle guest billing, receipts, refunds, and payment reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities as required.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursement records.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
- Support management with administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant, Accounts Executive, or similar role.
- Experience in the hospitality, hotel, resort, or service industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliances, and taxation procedures.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Should be comfortable with staying at the property, if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of hospitality accounting practices and inventory management.
- Experience handling audits, vendor management, and financial controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
