We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee and optimize our recycling plant operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily production activities to ensure maximum productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production operations.
- Manage recycling processes for plastic and metal materials, ensuring optimum output and quality.
- Develop production schedules to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.
- Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and operating procedures.
- Lead and supervise production supervisors, operators, and plant personnel.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Logistics departments.
- Minimize production downtime through preventive maintenance planning.
- Monitor raw material consumption, wastage, and production costs.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in production or plant operations, preferably in the recycling, plastics, polymers, metal processing, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, inventory management, and process optimization.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in plastic recycling (PET, PP) and metal recycling (aluminium, copper, etc.).
- Strong understanding of extrusion, washing, shredding, granulation, sorting, and recycling processes.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, EHS practices, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
