We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Admission Counsellor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about our design programs, and helping achieve enrollment targets. Candidates must have prior experience working as an Admission Counsellor or Student Counsellor.
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding undergraduate and postgraduate design programs.
- Understand student aspirations, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
- Manage inquiries received through phone calls, emails, social media, walk-ins, and education fairs.
- Conduct follow-up calls and maintain regular communication with prospects throughout the admission cycle.
- Guide applicants through application submission, portfolio requirements, entrance tests, interviews, and enrollment procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application statuses in the CRM system.
- Organize and participate in campus visits, open houses, webinars, workshops, and admission events.
- Collaborate with academic and marketing teams to support student recruitment initiatives.
- Achieve admission and enrollment targets while ensuring a positive student experience.
- Stay updated on program offerings, industry trends, scholarship opportunities, and admission policies.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A background in Design, Education will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2-4 years of prior experience as an Admission Counsellor, Education Counsellor, or Student Counsellor is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English. Knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple student inquiries and work in a target-driven environment.
