We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Civil Engineer to oversee and enforce all quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures on our construction sites. In this role, you will be the primary gatekeeper for project integrity, responsible for inspecting materials, monitoring construction processes, and ensuring strict compliance with design specifications, local codes, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct daily field inspections to ensure construction activities align with approved blueprints, engineering drawings, and structural specifications.
- Material Testing: Oversee and coordinate the sampling and testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete, asphalt, soil, steel) to guarantee they meet ASTM, ACI, and project standards.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and federal building codes, as well as environmental and safety (OSHA) regulations.
- QA/QC Documentation: Maintain detailed logs, daily inspection reports, and photographic documentation of project progress and quality metrics.
- Non-Conformance Resolution: Identify defects or deviations from the plan (Non-Conformance Reports - NCRs), halt work if necessary, and collaborate with project managers and contractors to implement corrective actions.
- Plan Review: Review structural drawings, mix designs, and contractor submittals for accuracy and feasibility before construction begins.
- Subcontractor Management: Monitor the workmanship of subcontractors and suppliers, holding them accountable to project quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in a QA/QC role within civil engineering or commercial construction.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methodologies, material properties, and industry standards .
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural blueprints and specifications.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to firmly but professionally enforce quality standards with field crews and management.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
