Role Overview
We are looking for a Agro field coordinator to work closely with cattle farmers and support farming-related activities. The candidate will be responsible for visiting farms, understanding farmers' needs, supporting veterinary coordination, and assisting in data collection and analysis related to cattle farming.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit cattle farms and dairy farmers regularly to understand their requirements and challenges.
- Mandatory field visits in the morning (7:00 AM – 10:00 AM) to interact with farmers during active farm hours.
- Provide on-ground support to the Farming Executive team for operational activities.
- Visit farms under the guidance of the assigned veterinary doctor and support farmers on animal health.
- Collect field data, study farming practices, and analyze insights to improve farm productivity.
- Build strong relationships with local cattle farmers and dairy farm owners.
- Support implementation of farm improvement practices and guidance programs.
- Maintain basic records and submit field reports and updates.
- Eligibility / Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Agriculture / Veterinary / Dairy Science / Agri-related courses preferred.
- Candidates with interest in cattle farming, dairy farming, or agriculture will have an added advantage.
- Local candidates preferred (Erode and nearby areas).
- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license for field travel.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills with farmers.
- Willingness to work in field conditions and flexible work timings.
- Basic data collection and reporting skills.
