Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential local vendors for casting and machining components based on quality, capacity, capability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate favorable terms and agreements with vendors, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of vendor facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and ethical practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to vendors on casting and machining processes, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and production teams to communicate vendor capabilities, constraints, and project requirements effectively.
- Monitor vendor performance through KPIs and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in vendor development processes to optimize efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to casting and machining processes, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience of 8-10 years working in vendor development, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.
- In-depth knowledge of casting and machining processes, including but not limited to sand casting, investment casting, CNC machining, and turning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in negotiation and relationship management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for data analysis, project management, and ERP systems.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
