Job Title: Store In-Charge & Operations Manager (Ex-Servicemen Preferred)
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly disciplined, organized, and dependable individual to take complete ownership of our store operations and inventory management. This is a dual-responsibility role where you will act as the Store In-Charge (overseeing stocks, inventory accuracy, and material handling) as well as the Operations Manager (handling daily floor administration, staff supervision, and process discipline).
Preference will be given to retired defense personnel (Indian Air Force/Army/Navy veterans, ideally around 45–50 years of age) with experience in logistics, inventory control, or unit administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store & Inventory Management (In-Charge Duties):
- Oversee daily inward and outward movement of materials, ensuring accurate logging and zero discrepancies.
- Maintain optimal stock levels, conduct regular audits, and prepare monthly inventory reports.
- Implement clean, organized, and systematic storage practices (FIFO/LIFO system where applicable).
- Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners for timely deliveries and dispatches.
2. Administration & Team Management (Managerial Duties):
- Manage daily store operations, ensuring the facility opens and closes securely on time.
- Supervise, motivate, and maintain strict discipline among the store staff and helpers.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, maintaining clear digital or physical paperwork.
- Enforce safety protocols, security checks, and loss-prevention measures within the premises.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Background: Ex-Servicemen (Indian Air Force preferred / JCO or NCO equivalent ranks).
- Age Profile: Ideal age range is between 45 to 50 years.
- Experience: Previous experience handling logistics, inventory, or administrative duties during military service or in a civilian setup.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership traits with a firm but fair approach to managing ground staff.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Email, or basic inventory software).
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and an eye for detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under operational pressure.
