Job Summary
Zylo Fitness is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to support our digital marketing team in improving website visibility, increasing organic traffic, and enhancing search engine rankings. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO concepts, a willingness to learn, and an interest in digital marketing and search engine optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Support on-page SEO activities such as meta tags, headings, image optimization, and internal linking.
- Upload and optimize blog content on WordPress.
- Assist in Google Business Profile optimization and local SEO activities.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Support backlink-building and off-page SEO activities.
- Conduct website audits and identify SEO improvement opportunities.
- Maintain SEO reports and track keyword rankings.
- Assist in content optimization according to SEO best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithm updates.
Performance Expectations
Every SEO Intern is expected to:
- Complete assigned SEO tasks within the given timelines.
- Maintain accuracy while performing keyword research and SEO implementation.
- Follow SEO best practices and company guidelines.
- Submit daily and weekly work reports.
- Demonstrate continuous learning and improvement in SEO skills.
- Collaborate effectively with content, design, and development teams.
- Contribute to improving website rankings and organic visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Pursuing or Completed) in Marketing, Business, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and search engines.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is preferred.
Performance & Compliance The SEO Intern is expected to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality while handling company data and digital assets. Failure to follow company policies, reporting requirements, SEO guidelines, or assigned responsibilities may result in performance review and corrective action as per company policy.The intern is expected to actively participate in training sessions, implement feedback, and contribute positively to the growth of Zylo Fitness's online presence.
