Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and result-oriented Admission Counsellor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students through the overseas admissions process, provide career counselling, and support them in making informed study abroad decisions.
The role involves lead conversion, student counselling, relationship management, and achieving enrolment targets through effective communication and counselling strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert leads into successful student admissions
- Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities
- Guide students on courses, universities, career paths, and visa processes
- Manage and follow up with leads through online and offline platforms
- Conduct presentations, seminars, and webinars at schools and colleges
- Plan and execute education fairs and outreach events
- Assist students with applications and documentation processes
- Maintain accurate CRM records and regular reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth student onboarding
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in EdTech, overseas education, admissions, or B2C sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong counselling and convincing abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
- Understanding of international admissions and visa processes preferred
- Willingness to travel for seminars and events when required
Preferred Experience:
- Overseas education consulting or academic counselling background
- Knowledge of SOPs, LORs, and visa documentation
- Multilingual communication skills will be an added advantage
