Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership & Governance
- Provide strategic vision and operational leadership for all B.Tech and postgraduate engineering departments.
- Lead curriculum design, periodic revision, and implementation aligned with NEP 2020, industry standards, and modern technologies (AI/ML, IoT, Green Tech).
- Oversee faculty recruitment, performance appraisals, mentoring, and professional development.
2. Research, Innovation & Industry Collaboration
- Foster an active research ecosystem, driving funded projects, patents, and high-impact publications (SCI/Scopus indexed).
- Build strong alliances with industry leaders for internships, joint R&D labs, and curriculum inputs.
- Promote entrepreneurship, startup incubation, and innovation hubs among engineering students.
3. Accreditation & Quality Assurance
- Spearhead institutional and program-level accreditations including NAAC, NBA, and global rankings (QS/NIRF).
- Ensure strict adherence to UGC Regulations and AICTE standards for technical education delivery.
Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC/AICTE Norms)
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in a relevant branch of Engineering/Technology from a recognized and reputed institution. First-class degree at Bachelor’s (B.E./B.Tech) or Master’s (M.E./M.Tech) level.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of total experience in teaching, research, or industry.
- Must currently hold or have held the position of Professor for a minimum of 5–10 years.
- Demonstrated administrative experience (e.g., as Head of Department, Associate Dean, or Coordinator) in an autonomous or university setup.
- Research Track Record: Minimum number of peer-reviewed publications, successful Ph.D. supervisions, and execution of sponsored research grants as prescribed by current UGC/AICTE guidelines.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
