About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant who can go beyond traditional accounting and contribute to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, business projections, MIS preparation, expense analysis, and statutory compliance. You will work closely with management to provide actionable financial insights and support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare business projections, revenue forecasts, budgets, and profitability analyses.
- Develop and monitor expense plans, earnings forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for management review.
- Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and strategic decision-making initiatives.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting
- Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Business Projections and Financial Analysis
- Cost Analysis and Variance Analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Functions)
- Tally / ERP Software proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and reporting skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
2–4 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
Experience in preparing MIS reports and business financial analysis
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Corporate accounting experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Educational Qualification
- Full-Time B.Com Graduate
- Candidates pursuing CA or CS (not yet qualified) are encouraged to apply
