Job Description
Kimirica is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to support Finance & Accounts with a strong focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), MIS, budgeting, business finance, and commercial reporting, while also managing core accounting, taxation, reconciliations, compliance, and audit activities. The role will work closely with leadership to provide financial insights, strengthen financial controls, and support business decision-making across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, business dashboards, and management reports.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.
- Analyse revenue, margins, operating expenses, inventory, and overall business performance across channels.
- Prepare financial models, business cases, and commercial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Perform bank, customer, vendor, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), customer collections, vendor payments, and ageing reports.
- Review accounting entries, journal vouchers, provisions, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, TCS, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, and financial audits while ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Retail, E-commerce, Operations, and other business teams for finance-related support.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, reporting automation, cost optimization, and stronger financial governance.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, MIS, Business Finance, Financial Reporting, or Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in D2C, e-commerce, FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and profitability reporting.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, reconciliations, AP, AR, GST, TDS, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, business partnering, problem-solving, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
