KEY Requirement:
Electrical Maintenance, PLC Programming & troubleshooting, hydraulic & pneumatic machine experience, Breakdown handling.
1. Preventive Maintenance
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with the production team to ensure zero breakdowns and 100% equipment availability.
- Complete and update preventive maintenance check sheets daily and weekly to align with maintenance plans.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and conduct inspections to identify abnormalities, taking necessary actions to resolve them, including parts replacement and servicing.
- Analyze Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) data to implement effective countermeasures.
- Maintain and update the Total Breakdown Maintenance (TBM) calendar to facilitate timely inspections and increase the lifespan of spare parts and equipment.
2. Breakdown Maintenance
- Respond to major breakdowns, perform root cause analysis (including the "why-why" method) to diagnose issues, and manage restoration of defective parts.
- Analyze daily breakdown reports and provide guidance to the maintenance team to mitigate future occurrences.
- Conduct monthly reviews of breakdown data to enhance MTTR and MTBF through root cause investigations.
- Develop and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence of issues and facilitate horizontal deployment of solutions across the team.
3. Spares Management
- Identify critical and non-critical spare parts and maintain an updated inventory list.
- Manage consumable, wearing, electronic, and electrical spare parts.
- Control consumption rates and stock levels to optimize inventory and reduce costs.
4. Cost Saving & Energy Conservation
- Reduce costs by sourcing local alternatives, refurbishing parts, and developing local vendors.
- Minimize service costs through in-house training for the maintenance team.
- Identify energy wastage opportunities and implement conservation strategies via reductions in energy consumption and modification of circuits.
5. Modification & Upgradation
- Upgrade and modify existing machinery and systems based on customer requirements and technological advancements.
- Conduct analyses of breakdowns to improve MTTR and MTBF by refining machine designs.
- Identify and replace obsolete equipment and spare parts, ensuring technological relevance.
6. Vendor & Service Management
- Identify and develop compatible vendors for service solutions, Tool Room requirements, electronic services and upgradation & coordinating with vendors on timely basis to resolve problems, changing parameters Taking follow-up for payment of vendor
7. System Implementation and documentation
- Implementing systems like QMS, 5S, TPM, DWM. Preparing the documentation and presentation of the same as per Statutory Requirement, audit requirement, management review, value working.
- Updating and keeping records of all maintenance related activities in SAP
- Follow , percolate and comply with the statutory reequipments like OSHAS, EMS, Safety, MSEB.
