Consultant
As a Consultant for Active Directory at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work products within defined timelines while supporting the stability, security, and efficiency of Active Directory and Entra ID operations. Depending on level, the role may include mentoring junior team members, coordinating onsite/offshore delivery, leading operational workstreams, and supporting focused implementation or enhancement efforts.
This role supports both technical and business stakeholders and is responsible for operational excellence across directory services, IAM processes, automation, service management, incident resolution, and platform optimization.
Work you'll do
As a Consultant on the Cyber Operate team, you will be responsible for:
- Architecting, implementing, and supporting Active Directory, Entra ID, and LDAP directory solutions across hybrid environments
- Providing level 3 operational support for directory services and IAM platforms, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, change management, and compliance reporting
- Troubleshooting authentication, authorization, Domain Name System (DNS), replication, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), service accounts, and Active Directory object configuration issues
- Developing PowerShell automation, operational reports, and runbooks to improve service delivery, platform stability, and operational efficiency
- Collaborating with client, infrastructure, security, and application teams on enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing service operations

Cyber Operate team focuses on efficiently running operations by enabling automation, reducing manual effort and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on the standards set by clients.
Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai
Shift Timings: 24x7 rotational shifts, including night, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage based on project assignments
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-6 years of experience in identity and access management, directory services, or managed services operations
- 4+ years of experience supporting Active Directory and Entra ID in an operations or managed services environment
- Experience providing level 3 support for Active Directory, including incident management, problem management, change management, and root cause analysis
- Experience developing PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, or operational monitoring
- Experience with information technology service management processes, including incident, service request, problem, and change management
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager, Radiant Logic, Semperis, ManageEngine, Quest, or Active Directory migration tools
- Experience supporting hybrid Active Directory and cloud directory environments
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure operations and certificate lifecycle management
- Experience leading enhancement or implementation activities for directory services or IAM platforms
- ITIL or identity and access management certifications
