Job Overview
We are looking for a PLC Programmer with hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI programming, servo drives, machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and industrial automation.
The role will focus on developing, commissioning, and supporting automation systems for laser cutting, packaging, printing, pick-and-place, gantry, and other special-purpose machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and provide technical support for PLC and HMI programs.
- Integrate and troubleshoot PLCs with Servo Drives, Servo Motors, VFDs, HMIs, and other automation components.
- Develop PLC-based automation solutions according to machine requirements.
- Configure and commission servo motors and drives, including basic motion control and servo tuning.
- Perform machine commissioning, trials, troubleshooting, and debugging at customer sites.
- Provide technical support to machine builders and end customers.
- Identify and resolve electrical, PLC, servo, communication, and machine-control issues.
- Prepare PLC programs, commissioning reports, manuals, and other technical documentation.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial machine automation.
- Strong practical knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Servo Drives, Servo Motors, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with Inovance, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Delta, Omron, Panasonic, or similar PLC platforms is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in servo motion control, positioning, homing, speed/torque control, and servo tuning will be an advantage.
- Experience with machine builders, CNC/laser machines, packaging, printing, SPMs, gantry systems, or material handling machines will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to travel to customer sites for commissioning and technical support.
