Job Summary:
The Media Executive is responsible for planning, creating, and managing digital and offline media content to enhance the institution's brand visibility and engagement. The role involves coordinating social media platforms, content creation, photography, videography, event coverage, and promotional campaigns while ensuring consistent brand communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
- Capture and edit high-quality photographs and videos of school events, classroom activities, and special programs.
- Design creative promotional materials, including posters, banners, brochures, and digital creatives.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to gather content for marketing and communication.
- Manage the school's social media accounts and ensure regular posting schedules.
- Write compelling captions, newsletters, website content, and promotional copy.
- Monitor social media engagement and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, admission drives, and branding initiatives.
- Ensure all media content aligns with the school's branding guidelines.
- Maintain a digital archive of photos, videos, and marketing assets.
- Coordinate with external agencies, printers, photographers, and media vendors when required.
- Stay updated with digital marketing trends, social media algorithms, and emerging content formats.
- Support live coverage of school events and promotional activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Marketing Manager or School Management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Visual Communication, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in media, digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
- Experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic photo and video editing skills.
- Strong content writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
- Creativity with an eye for visual storytelling.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
