Key Responsibilities
- Routine Testing & Analysis: Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw water, in-process water, and final packaged products. Key parameters include pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), hardness, turbidity, alkalinity, and heavy metals.
- Quality Control (QC) & Compliance: Ensure all water batches meet internal specifications as well as local regulatory requirements. This often includes strict alignment with BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), FSSAI, or EPA guidelines.
- Equipment Calibration: Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory instruments like pH meters, turbidimeters, spectrophotometers, and chromatographs.
- Water Treatment Monitoring: Oversee the chemistry of water treatment systems, including Reverse Osmosis (RO), Demineralization (DM) plants, and filtration units to optimize chemical dosing and membrane performance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of all test results, prepare Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and document data for audits.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure laboratory practices and chemical storage comply with health and safety standards
