About the Role

We are looking for a Content Writer & Editor to join our dynamic editorial team and contribute to the development of high-quality K–12 academic books across multiple school curricula and subjects.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, edit, and refine content for K–12 textbooks, workbooks, activity books, practice books, and teacher resources.
- Work on multiple curricula (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, and other national/international curricula) across a variety of subjects.
- Rephrase and simplify content while maintaining academic accuracy and age-appropriate language.
- Create engaging exercises, activities, assessments, projects, and worksheets that promote conceptual understanding.
- Ensure content aligns with curriculum guidelines, learning objectives, and pedagogical standards.
- Proofread manuscripts to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, clarity, and error-free language.
- Coordinate with authors, subject experts, illustrators, designers, and the editorial team throughout the publishing process.
- Review illustrations, layouts, and page proofs to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Conduct fact-checking and maintain consistency in terminology, style, formatting, and editorial guidelines.
- Contribute innovative ideas for interactive and activity-based learning, especially for Pre-Primary and Primary learners.

- Excellent command of written English, grammar, vocabulary, and style.
- Strong writing, editing, rewriting, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to convert complex concepts into simple, engaging, and learner-friendly content.
- Strong research and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Creativity in designing educational activities and assessment material.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced publishing environment.
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in academic publishing, educational content development, curriculum design, instructional design, or textbook editing.
- Familiarity with K–12 curriculum frameworks and educational publishing standards will be an added advantage.
