Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and site requirements
- Perform quantity take-off for civil works such as RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing, etc.
- Analyze drawings (GFC, tender drawings) and identify discrepancies
- Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and budgets for civil works
- Compare vendor / subcontractor quotations and assist in finalization
- Monitor material quantities vs consumption at site
- Prepare and verify running bills (RA bills) and final bills of contractors
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning team, and procurement
- Track variation quantities, extra items, and deviation statements
- Maintain BOQ revisions and cost control reports
- Assist in tendering, billing, and cost reconciliation
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of civil construction materials & methods
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off
- Good understanding of IS codes & standard measurement methods
- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD / drawings interpretation
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 1–5 years of experience in BOQ / Quantity Surveying (as applicable)
- Experience in residential / commercial / industrial projects preferred
Software Knowledge (Preferred)
- MS Excel
- AutoCAD
- PlanSwift / Revit / CostX (optional)
- ERP / Billing software (if applicable)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
