Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Category Head – Mobile & IT to lead the growth and profitability of our Mobile, Laptop, IT Accessories, and Smart Devices category. The candidate will be responsible for category strategy, vendor management, product assortment, pricing, promotions, inventory planning, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category growth strategies for Mobile & IT products.
- Manage relationships with leading brands and suppliers.
- Drive sales, margins, and profitability of the category.
- Plan product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer demand.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels and stock availability.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze category performance and prepare MIS reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in Mobile, IT, Electronics, or Consumer Durable retail.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of smartphones, laptops, IT accessories, and emerging technology products.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Locations:
Nagamalai pudukottai, Melur, Palanganatham, Thirumangalam & Usilampatti.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
