We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our surgical billing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience navigating complex surgical claims, with a strong preference for Certified Professional Coders (CPC) or individuals with a proven track record in spine surgery billing. You will manage the full billing cycle to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.
Key Responsibilities
- Review surgical op reports for accuracy.
- Translate complex spine procedures into correct codes.
- Submit clean electronic and paper claims daily.
- Audit modifier usage for multi-level spinal surgeries.
- Manage claim denials, appeals, and underpayments.
- Verify pre-authorizations match final surgical billing.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
Qualifications
- Certification: CPC or CCS-P designation highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in spine surgery billing.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of hardware, instrumentation, and implants.
- Expertise: Mastery of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS modifiers.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
