We are looking for an experienced Quality Control to handle end-to-end quality control for men’s denim bottom wear. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all garments meet buyer standards, fit requirements, and quality specifications from fabric stage to final dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw denim fabric, trims, and accessories for quality, shade, GSM, and defects
- Monitor in-line production quality during cutting, stitching, washing, and finishing
- Conduct measurement and fit checks as per approved size charts and tolerance levels
- Identify defects such as stitch issues, fabric defects, washing problems, and finishing faults
- Ensure washing quality (shade, hand feel, shrinkage, color fastness) meets standards
- Perform final quality inspection (AQL / 100% checking) before packing and dispatch
- Verify labelling, tagging, folding, packing, and carton quality
- Maintain quality reports, defect analysis, and corrective action records
- Coordinate with production, washing unit, and merchandiser to resolve quality issues
- Ensure adherence to buyer quality standards and compliance requirements
Quality Parameters to Check
- Stitching quality, seam strength, and construction
- Measurement accuracy and fit consistency
- Denim wash effects, colour consistency, and finishing
- Garment appearance, thread trimming, and ironing quality
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in QC for men’s denim / bottom wear
- Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, and garment construction
- Understanding of AQL standards and buyer inspection processes
- Ability to read tech packs, size charts, and measurement sheets
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
