Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Receive and review sampling requests from the sales and merchandising team.
- Coordinate with the design, pattern, cutting, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely sample development.
- Prepare and maintain sample development timelines and ensure on-time sample submission.
- Arrange and monitor fabric, trims, accessories, and branding materials required for samples.
- Ensure samples meet buyer specifications, measurements, quality standards, and company guidelines.
- Coordinate sample approvals and implement all required corrections before final submission.
- Maintain sample registers, development status, approval records, and dispatch details.
- Follow up with vendors and internal departments for pending materials and sample completion.
- Ensure proper labeling, packing, and dispatch of samples to customers or retail teams.
- Monitor sample costs and minimize material wastage during sample development.
- Maintain effective communication with merchandising, production, and quality teams regarding sample status.
- Support the merchandising team during new product development, school uniform presentations, and buyer meetings.
- Ensure all samples are completed within the committed timeline while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare weekly MIS reports on sample status, pending approvals, dispatches, and delays.
- Maintain proper filing of sample specifications, tech packs, measurement sheets, and approved samples for future reference.
