Job Summary:
The Loader / Unloader is responsible for loading, unloading, handling, and transporting food products, beverages, raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies required for restaurant operations. The role ensures that all goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:Loading & Unloading
- Load and unload food products, beverages, kitchen supplies, and other materials from delivery vehicles.
- Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss.
- Assist in the movement of stock between storage areas, kitchens, and outlets.
Inventory & Storage
- Verify quantities received against delivery challans, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Arrange and stack goods properly in designated storage areas.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock rotation procedures.
- Report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Store Manager immediately.
Housekeeping & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of loading/unloading areas, storage rooms, and workspaces.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Dispose of packaging materials and waste appropriately.
Safety Compliance
- Adhere to company safety policies while lifting and moving materials.
- Use equipment such as trolleys, hand trucks, and pallet jacks safely.
- Wear required safety gear and follow workplace safety guidelines.
Support Functions
- Assist the store and kitchen teams during stock audits and inventory counts.
- Support delivery and logistics operations as required.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 8th/10th Pass preferred.
- Prior experience in loading, unloading, warehousing, logistics, or restaurant operations is an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials.
- Basic understanding of inventory handling and storage practices.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Working Conditions:

Salary Range: As per company policy and experience.
Location: Restaurant, Central Kitchen, Warehouse, or Distribution Centre.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
