Position Title: Medical Transcriptionist
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in medical transcription, healthcare documentation,
Qualification:
- Degree in Medical Transcription, Life Sciences, Healthcare
- Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and medical documentation.
- Good typing speed and computer skills.
Salary: Salary will be based on experience and industry standards.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Transcribe and edit medical dictations from physicians and healthcare professionals accurately and within specified timelines.
- Prepare and format medical reports, discharge summaries, operative notes, consultation reports, and other clinical documents.
- Review transcribed reports for completeness, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
- Verify medical terminology, abbreviations, diagnoses, procedures, and medications to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff to clarify unclear dictations or incomplete information.
- Ensure timely submission and updating of patient records in the Hospital Information System (HIS) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the organization.
- Report documentation discrepancies and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the Medical Records Department in maintaining accurate and organized healthcare documentation.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
