Job Summary
The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, ensuring smooth patient registration, admissions, billing coordination, appointment scheduling, and excellent customer service. The role also includes supervising front office staff and maintaining efficient coordination with all hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily Front Office operations.
- Ensure smooth patient registration, OPD/IPD admissions, and appointment scheduling.
- Coordinate with Billing, Nursing, Doctors, Laboratory, Pharmacy, MRD, and other departments for seamless patient services.
- Handle patient and attendant queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Monitor front office staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and duty allocation.
- Ensure accurate patient data entry and documentation in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Monitor cash collection, billing processes, and shift handover records.
- Ensure timely preparation of admission, discharge, and transfer documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure adherence to NABH standards and quality protocols.
- Prepare daily operational reports and submit them to Hospital Administration.
- Assist during emergencies and ensure effective communication among departments.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (Hospital Management preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in Hospital Front Office or Patient Services.
- Experience in a NABH-accredited hospital will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of patient registration, admissions, billing coordination, TPA processes, and customer relationship management.
- Ability to handle high patient volumes while maintaining service quality.
