Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - E-Commerce to manage and scale our presence across leading online marketplaces and D2C platforms. The role involves end-to-end ownership of marketplace performance, account growth, promotions, operations, and analytics while working closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue and brand visibility.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end operations of e-commerce marketplaces, including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Jiomart, TATA 1mg, HealthMug, Nykaa, Tira, and Quick Commerce platforms.
Create, update, and manage product listings in bulk mode across all platforms.
Monitor visibility, consumer promotions, pricing, and availability to maximize performance.
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with marketplace account managers and key stakeholders.
Ensure maximum pin-code availability and take corrective actions where required.
2. Marketing & Growth
Plan, create, and manage ads campaigns, deals, coupons, and promotional assets on Amazon, Flipkart, and TATA 1mg.
Execute platform-led brand campaigns as per agreed timelines.
Implement strategies to boost organic traffic, conversions, unit sales, and revenue growth.
3. Performance & Market Analysis
Track and analyze key e-commerce performance metrics at channel and SKU level.
Prepare and present weekly performance reports and actionable insights.
Identify emerging e-commerce trends and growth opportunities and implement action plans.
Develop comprehensive platform-wise and account-wise strategies for leading marketplaces.
Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark performance.
4. Ecommerce Optimization
Optimize product listings, content, and data feeds to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Optimize product images as per marketplace algorithms and guidelines.
Create and upload A+ / enhanced content across marketplaces.
Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams to improve content quality and conversion.
5. D2C Website Management
Manage Shopify/D2C website performance including listings, inventory, operations, and promotions.
Monitor user experience, sales performance, and competitor activity.
Address customer queries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
6. Operations Management
Ensure timely and complete order fulfillment across all marketplaces.
Drive marketplace operations to achieve short- and long-term business objectives.
Minimize chargebacks and ensure compliance with operational metrics and SLAs.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve platform-related issues efficiently.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Business, or Marketing.
Minimum 5 years of experience in E-Commerce Key Account Management.
Strong experience managing Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Jiomart, TATA 1mg, HealthMug, Nykaa, Tira, Quick Commerce and D2C (Shopify) platforms.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage inventory, promotions, and sales efficiently.
Hands-on experience with e-commerce dashboards, reporting tools, and ad platforms.
