Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, your day revolves around fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for software development teams practicing Agile methodologies. You will guide the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring smooth communication and removing any obstacles that may hinder progress. Your role involves continuous support and encouragement to maintain focus on sprint goals, while tracking and communicating the team's progress through relevant metrics. By facilitating open dialogue and promoting best practices, you help the team deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Support the team in identifying and removing impediments that may affect sprint progress.
- Promote continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adapting processes accordingly.
- Assist in tracking and reporting team performance metrics to stakeholders for transparency and informed decision-making.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scrum.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile Program Management.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks to guide teams effectively.
- Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Experience in facilitating communication between cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Skilled in using tools and techniques to monitor sprint progress and team productivity.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Scrum.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
