About the Role
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 3–4 years of experience to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will drive budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and business decision support, working closely with plant operations, procurement, and the leadership team to strengthen financial visibility and control across the manufacturing value chain.
Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic rolling forecasts across plant operations, sales, and overheads; track budget vs. actual variances and drive corrective action with respective department heads.
Management Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations covering revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, EBITDA, and key operating metrics for review by the Finance Head and leadership team.
Cost & Margin Analysis: Analyze product-wise, plant-wise, and customer-wise profitability; monitor raw material cost trends, conversion costs, and yield/wastage variances typical of a manufacturing setup.
Capex & Investment Analysis: Prepare business cases, payback/ROI/NPV analysis for capex proposals, capacity expansion, and new product line investments.
Business Partnering: Act as a finance business partner to plant heads, procurement, and sales teams, providing data-driven insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial reporting and analysis processes, including use of ERP systems and Excel/BI tools.
Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, accounting standards (Ind AS), and support statutory/internal/cost audits as required.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Support the Finance Head with special projects, pricing analysis, competitor benchmarking, and other strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing, chemical, or process industry. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Self-driven, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹944,868.95 - ₹1,041,480.20 per year
