We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing transportation loads, maintaining effective communication with drivers and brokers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily transportation loads, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and delivery requirements.
- Liaise with brokers and clients to schedule pickups, deliveries, and resolve any logistical issues.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential delays or challenges to maintain on-time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of load assignments, delivery confirmations, and driver communications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the transportation and logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
