About the Role
The Intern Ambassador is Welcome Intern's official student ambassador who represents and promotes Welcome Intern's global career acceleration ecosystem within their university community.
Intern Ambassadors play an important role in connecting students with professional development opportunities while helping to build vibrant learning communities across universities worldwide.
This flexible remote role is designed to fit around academic commitments while allowing ambassadors to contribute meaningfully to student engagement initiatives and develop valuable leadership, communication, and networking skills.

Key Responsibilities
Student Community Engagement
- Represent Welcome Intern professionally within your university community and approved online platforms.
- Build meaningful relationships with fellow students and encourage participation in career development opportunities.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative student community.
- Promote professional growth through positive peer engagement.
Campus Outreach & Community Awareness
- Support approved campus outreach activities in accordance with your institution's policies and student organization guidelines.
- Share official Welcome Intern announcements, educational resources, webinars, and events using approved communication channels.
- Participate in information sessions, student club collaborations, networking activities, and community initiatives where appropriate.
Digital Engagement & Communications
- Promote approved Welcome Intern initiatives using responsible digital communication practices.
- Share official campaigns through university communities and professional networks using approved materials.
- Encourage positive online engagement while maintaining professional communication standards.
Community Feedback & Insights
- Gather constructive feedback regarding students' career aspirations, professional development needs, and learning interests.
- Share insights with the Welcome Intern team to support continuous improvement.
- Help identify opportunities to strengthen student engagement and community participation.
Partnership Development
- Build professional relationships with student clubs, societies, entrepreneurship communities, innovation hubs, and campus organisations.
- Support collaborative initiatives that encourage student participation in career development activities.
- Help expand Welcome Intern's campus presence through ethical, respectful, and professional engagement.

Working Guidelines
Intern Ambassadors are expected to:
- Conduct all activities professionally, ethically, and respectfully.
- Follow the policies, student codes of conduct, and promotional guidelines of their educational institution.
- Conduct campus engagement activities only where permitted and with any required approvals.
- Use only official Welcome Intern communication materials and approved brand assets.
- Obtain prior approval before creating or distributing promotional materials on behalf of Welcome Intern.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of students, applicants, institutional partners, and stakeholders.
- Comply with applicable laws and responsible digital communication practices.
Performance Evaluation
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Professional conduct

- Achievement of agreed community engagement objectives

Regular mentoring, guidance, and constructive feedback will be provided throughout the programme.

Welcome Intern offers a flexible milestone-based incentive structure designed to recognize meaningful contributions toward agreed community engagement and outreach objectives.

Qualifications
We welcome applications from students and recent graduates across all academic disciplines.
Applicants should:
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at an accredited college or university, or be a recent graduate.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an interest in leadership, community engagement, professional networking, or career development.
- Be proactive, organised, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a remote environment.
- Be comfortable using common digital communication and collaboration platforms.
- Previous involvement in student clubs, societies, volunteer organisations, entrepreneurship communities, innovation programmes, or leadership activities is advantageous but not required.
