Key Details
- Experience: 3 to 4 years in NVOCC or Freight Forwarding pricing.
- Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹35,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
- Education: Graduate degree in any stream (Logistics/International Business preferred).
- Notice Period: Immediate Joiner only.
Key Responsibilities
- Rate Procurement: Negotiate ocean freight rates with main lines (shipping lines) and overseas agents.
- Pricing Strategy: Formulate competitive and profitable tariff structures for LCL/FCL shipments.
- Quote Management: Respond quickly to rate inquiries from the internal sales team and direct clients.
- Market Analysis: Monitor global trade lane trends, surcharges and competitor pricing.
- Data Management: Maintain updated rate sheets and filing systems in the company ERP.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of NVOCC operations, INCOTERMS, and local port charges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Pay: ₹18,782.53 - ₹41,184.62 per month
