Job Description – Deputy / Assistant Manager - HR & Admin
Location: Kurla West, Mumbai

Reporting To: Head HR & Admin.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Deputy / Assistant Manager - HR & Admin to handle end-to-end HR Generalist and Administration activities. The candidate should have strong exposure in employee lifecycle management, recruitment, PMS coordination, employee engagement, compliance, payroll coordination, and administration functions.
The ideal candidate should be an immediate joiner with manufacturing industry exposure and the ability to independently manage HR and admin operations.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Handle end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process
- Support Performance Management System (PMS) activities
- Manage employee engagement and grievance handling
- Coordinate training and development initiatives
- Maintain HRMS and employee records
- Handle attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination
- Manage employee confirmation, appraisal, and exit formalities
- Ensure statutory compliance and HR policy implementation
Administration
- Handle office administration activities and facility management
- Manage housekeeping, security, transport, and vendor coordination
- Monitor AMC, office maintenance, and utility management
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and guest arrangements
- Handle admin budgets, petty cash, and procurement coordination
Compliance & Operations
- Ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies
- Maintain employee documentation and audit records
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth operations
Candidate Requirements
- MBA / Master’s Degree in HR or related field
- 8–12 years of experience in HR Generalist & Administration role
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Good knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance
- Experience in HRMS, payroll coordination, and MS Office
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently
- Immediate joiners preferred
