Role Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and inspire a team. You will be responsible for creating innovative and functional living spaces that reflect the unique style and needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage interior design projects from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Develop creative and innovative design concepts, including floor plans, elevations, and furniture layouts.
- Create detailed design plans, including material specifications and cost estimates.
- Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, furnishings, and accessories.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished products.
- Conduct site visits to ensure projects are progressing according to plan and to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and timelines.
- Prepare project cost estimates and provide pricing information to customers
- Prepare accurate estimations, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and related plans for each project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing residential and commercial projects.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present design concepts to clients.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of various hardware accessories, fittings.
- Experience in Modular Designing would be an advantage.
