Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our healthcare team as a <PERSON>. This role involves supporting clinical procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, with additional skills in sonography and aseptic techniques preferred. Qualification
- Diploma / BSc in Cardiac Technology or Echocardiography
Responsibilities
- Assist with clinical assessments and diagnostic procedures under supervision
- Prepare patients for sonography examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent infection
- Operate ultrasound equipment accurately, capturing high-quality images for analysis
- Support the healthcare team with administrative tasks related to patient records and documentation
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including infection control measures
- Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate communication and professional conduct
Experience
- 2+ Years experience in cardiology department
- Prior knowledge of physiology and human anatomy is essential
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging or clinical practice is required
- Experience in sonography or related imaging techniques is highly desirable
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control procedures is necessary
- Previous exposure to healthcare environments or clinical settings will be advantageous
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
