TP Operator – Job Description
Position: ETP Operator (Effluent Treatment Plant Operator)

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor effluent treatment plant equipment, including pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers, and chemical dosing systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of treatment processes and equipment.
- Monitor parameters such as pH, TSS, TDS, COD, BOD, and flow rates.
- Collect water and wastewater samples for testing and analysis.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, records, and reports.
- Adjust chemical dosing and process settings as required.
- Perform basic maintenance and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Handle sludge management and disposal activities according to regulations.
- Report equipment malfunctions, process abnormalities, and safety concerns.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
- Understanding of water quality testing methods.
- Ability to read gauges, meters, and control panels.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and environmental compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ITI/Technical certification in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related fields (requirements vary by employer).
- Experience operating ETP/STP systems is often preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
