- Perform cutting, drilling, routing, assembling, fitting, and installation of modular kitchen, wardrobe, workstation, and other furniture components.
- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings, furniture layouts, measurements, and cutting dimensions.
- Accurately measure and mark materials before cutting or machining.
- Work with plywood, MDF, HDF, particle board, laminates, veneers, and other furniture materials.
- Install hinges, drawer channels, handles, locks, baskets, lift-up systems, screws, brackets, and other furniture hardware.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, spacing, finishing, and functionality of completed furniture.
- Carry out site installation and modification work according to project requirements.
- Identify and rectify fitting, alignment, measurement, and finishing issues.
- Handle carpentry machines, hand tools, power tools, drills, screwdrivers, routers, saws, and other equipment safely.
- Coordinate with supervisors, designers, production staff, and site teams to complete assigned work.
- Follow production drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Maintain proper care of company tools, machinery, materials, and equipment.
- Minimize material wastage by following accurate measurements and cutting practices.
- Check finished products before dispatch and report any defects or quality issues.
- Assist in packing, shifting, loading, and unloading furniture and materials whenever required.
- Support the team during transportation and site installation activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Complete assigned production and installation work within the given schedule.
- Follow company rules, attendance requirements, safety guidelines, and workplace discipline.
- Perform other carpentry and furniture-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant carpentry experience preferred.
- Experience in modular kitchen, wardrobe, workstation, or furniture manufacturing is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of furniture hardware, fittings, and installation methods.
- Ability to read drawings and understand measurements.
- Good finishing and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Physically fit and willing to work at factory and project sites.
- Willing to assist with loading and unloading whenever required.
- Ability to work overtime based on production or site requirements.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
