Key Responsibilities Laboratory Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Coordinate calibration, validation, AMC, and breakdown maintenance with authorized service providers.
- Maintain equipment history records and service documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
- Ensure laboratory equipment remains operational with minimum downtime.
Utility & Facility Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain:
- Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Air Compressors
- RO/DM Water Systems
- Electrical Panels
- DG Set
- UPS Systems
- Water Pumps
- Lighting Systems
- Plumbing Systems
- Fire Safety Equipment
- Exhaust Systems
- AHU (where applicable)
Building & Infrastructure
- Carry out minor civil, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical maintenance.
- Ensure proper functioning of doors, windows, locks, furniture, partitions, and fixtures.
- Maintain housekeeping-related maintenance requirements.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with AMC vendors and service engineers.
- Raise service requests and ensure timely closure.
- Verify service reports before submission.
- Follow up for quotations, repairs, and spare parts.
Preventive Maintenance
- Prepare and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Maintain annual maintenance calendars.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed as planned.
Documentation
- Maintain:
- Equipment maintenance records
- Preventive maintenance logs
- Breakdown records
- Utility checklists
- Spare parts inventory
- AMC records
- Vendor service reports
- Calibration coordination records
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock of maintenance consumables and spare parts.
- Raise purchase requisitions for required materials.
- Ensure availability of critical spares.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow GMP, GLP, EHS, and company safety guidelines.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety procedures.
- Participate in emergency maintenance and breakdown support.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
General Responsibilities
- Attend emergency maintenance calls whenever required.
- Support laboratory relocation and equipment installation.
- Assist during audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with Administration, QA, IT, and Laboratory teams.
- Maintain cleanliness of maintenance tools and work areas.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance of pharmaceutical, laboratory, R&D, or manufacturing facilities.
- Fresh ITI candidates with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
