Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and experienced Textile Designer specializing in home textiles and bed linens. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience creating innovative prints, patterns, and design concepts for bed sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, and related bedding products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Creation: Develop original design concepts, prints, patterns, and colorways specifically for bed linens and bedding collections.
- Trend Analysis: Research market trends, color palettes, and seasonal styles in home textiles.
- Product Development: Create print-ready artwork, repeat patterns, and tech packs for production teams and manufacturers.
- Fabric & Material Knowledge: Work with various weave structures, print techniques (digital, screen, rotary), and fabric constructions suitable for bed linens.
- Sample Coordination: Collaborate with production/sampling teams to ensure accurate color matching and print quality.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of proven experience in home textile design, specifically focusing on bed linens.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in design software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or specialized textile design tools (NedGraphics, TexPro, etc.).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric types, printing methods, weave patterns, and bedding specifications.
