Role Summary
Project management activities, for setting up testing and evaluation facilities for Automotive R&D.
COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS
1. Technical Skills:
a. Layout of Testing Facilities: Hands-on project experience of R&D Testing Facilities layout. Industrial Building/similar areas. Understanding of NBC rules, safety, health & environmental aspects.
2. b. Technical Know of R&D Facilities in the field of powertrain, NVH, Test Track, Crash, Safety, Electrical (EV) testing etc.
3. c. Working knowledge of: Civil, Utilities, IT and safety.
Project Management Skills:
a. Know-how of various stages of projects from planning to handover of projects.
b. Lean and agile project management skills.
c. Coordination with stakeholders: including suppliers Civil, Electrical- Mechanical Utilities, IT, safety etc. Collaboration and coordination with inter and intra vertical departments to execute the tasks.
d. Project Scheduling and Monitoring
e. Contract Understanding.
Financial Acumen:
a. Information on taxation and its impact on sourcing cycle.
b. Awareness of the changing rules and their impact on work areas.
c. Knowledge of Procurement to Payment Cycle, including concepts of capitalization etc.
d. Knowledge of tax exemption schemes, e.g. FTA benefits, EPCG, Custom benefits, etc.
e. Experience of handling department/ divisional audits.
f. Knowledge of International business concepts, e.g. L/C, INCO Terms, Custom Clearance etc.
Analytical Aptitude:
a. Strong analytical skills to understand and interpret the data for spent analysis and management reporting.
b. Expertise in data analysis and info-graphic visualization using advanced excel, Power Point, Power BI etc.
c. Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
