Key Responsibilities
1. Greenbelt Development & Landscaping
-
Plan and execute greenbelt development projects in compliance with environmental norms
-
Manage plantation drives, avenue plantation, and biodiversity initiatives
-
Develop and maintain lawns, gardens, nurseries, and landscape areas within plant premises
2. Project Execution & Planning
-
Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, and project plans for horticulture activities
-
Execute landscaping work as per design drawings and timelines
-
Monitor project progress, quality standards, and cost control
3. Maintenance & Operations
-
Oversee day-to-day maintenance of horticulture areas including:
-
Irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, etc.)
-
Pest and disease control
-
Soil and nutrient management
-
Ensure optimum upkeep and aesthetic standards across plant premises
4. Vendor & Resource Management
-
Manage contractors and vendors for horticulture activities
-
Handle Procurement of plants, fertilizers, tools
-
Vendor billing and work certification
-
Ensure effective inventory and material management
5. Team Handling
-
Supervise gardeners, contractors, and support staff
-
Allocate tasks and monitor productivity and quality of work
-
Conduct basic training and safety awareness for team members
6. Documentation & Compliance
-
Maintain records for Plantation activities, Greenbelt development & Regulatory and audit requirements
-
Ensure compliance with Pollution control norms (SPCB guidelines)
-
Ensure compliance with Safety and environmental standards
7. Stakeholder Coordination
-
Collaborate with Admin / EHS / Projects / HR teams
-
Support audits, inspections, and sustainability initiatives
Qualification
-
B.Sc / M.Sc in Agriculture / Horticulture / Botany (Preferred)
Experience
-
4–8 years of experience in Industrial plants / steel / cement / energy / infrastructure
-
Large-scale landscaping / township / greenbelt development
Technical Skills
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of:

Plantation techniques, nursery management
-
Irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler)
-
Pest and disease control
The ideal candidate should have exposure to:

BOQ preparation, budgeting
-
SAP / MIS / reporting systems (preferred)
