Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel patients and attendants on estimated treatment costs, payment options, insurance coverage, and financial policies.
- Prepare, review, and process inpatient (IP) bills accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with clinical departments, insurance/TPA teams, and patients for billing-related requirements.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance details, approvals, and billing documentation.
- Ensure accurate charging of services, procedures, medications, and consumables.
- Facilitate cashless authorization, claim submissions, and discharge billing processes.
- Resolve billing queries, discrepancies, and patient concerns professionally.
- Generate billing reports and maintain accurate financial records in the hospital information system.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, insurance guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Experience in hospital billing, insurance coordination, or patient financial services preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing processes, TPAs, and insurance claims.
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and patient counselling abilities.
- Proficiency in Hospital Information Systems (HIS), MS Excel, and billing software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
