Position: Service Engineer – Rooftop
Location: Surat, Gujarat
Experience:
1–3 Years (Freshers with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn may also apply.)
Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit client sites to inspect and troubleshoot issues in installed solar PV systems.
- Diagnose electrical and system faults and provide effective solutions.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of solar power plants.
- Coordinate with clients to understand and resolve service-related concerns.
- Prepare service reports after every site visit.
- Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, technical support, and warranty claims.
- Ensure timely resolution of service requests while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Follow safety standards and company procedures during field operations.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Solar PV Systems.
- Understanding of electrical wiring, inverters, and electrical panels.
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Strong communication and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.
- Willingness to travel for site visits.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in solar EPC projects.
- Knowledge of commissioning and maintenance of rooftop or ground-mounted solar systems.
- Familiarity with testing instruments such as a multimeter, clamp meter, and insulation tester.
