Why Rocketlane is Hiring
Rocketlane is scaling its APAC Sales Development organization to capitalize on massive market demand and the launch of its AI-native product suite. We are looking for a BDR Manager to build and lead our APAC outbound motion from our Chennai office — partnering with global sales leadership to instill rigorous outbound discipline and develop the next generation of APAC sales talent.
What You Will Own
As BDR Manager – APAC, you will lead a team of high-performing BDRs focused exclusively on outbound pipeline generation across Mid-Market and Enterprise segments in the Asia-Pacific region. Your success will be measured by the following outcomes:
Consistently achieve 100%+ of your team's pipeline generation and SQL targets across APAC markets.
Implement weekly KPI commits to ensure high levels of accountability and reporting accuracy across the team.
Manage the full talent lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and internal promotions.
Conduct weekly 1:1s focused on tactical coaching, messaging mastery, and long-term career development.
Partner closely with Marketing and AE leadership to refine targeting strategies for APAC, resolve lead disputes, and optimize the handoff process.
Drive mastery of the modern sales tech stack and outbound messaging to penetrate new sub-verticals within the services industry across APAC.
Build and adapt playbooks that account for regional buying behaviors, cultural nuances, and time zones across key APAC markets (India, ANZ, SEA, and Japan).
Foster a motivational and high-energy team environment that balances competitive performance with high empathy.
You Should Apply If You Have
We are seeking a leader who understands the mechanics of a high-growth SaaS engine and knows how to motivate a team to win in a competitive outbound environment.
2+ years of experience in SaaS BDR/SDR management, or experience as a high-performing Team Lead in a sales environment.
Experience selling into or managing teams that cover APAC markets (India, ANZ, SEA, or Japan) is strongly preferred.
Direct experience as a SaaS Account Executive is highly valued — it provides perspective on what constitutes a quality sales handoff.
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding pipeline and SQL targets.
Deep expertise in outbound sales methodologies, process optimization, and CRM management.
High EQ with the ability to provide direct, actionable feedback while supporting individual career growth.
Ability to thrive in a Series c environment, showing agility as we explore and refine new market segments.
Comfortable working across time zones to align with APAC buyers and global leadership.
Location & Compensation
This is an on-site role based in our Chennai office.
Equity is included in the total compensation package, offering a meaningful stake in the company's growth.
Travel is minimal, limited to occasional industry conferences or team offsites.
