Roles and Responsibilities
Patient Evaluation and Preparation
Obtain, verify, and document complete patient medical history, clinical indications, and relevant prior investigations.
Conduct pre-procedure screening, including safety checks, contrast risk assessment, pregnancy status, renal function, and allergy history.
Educate patients regarding diagnostic procedures and obtain informed consent in accordance with institutional protocols.
Diagnostic and Imaging Support
Provide clinical assistance during diagnostic procedures including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Doppler studies, PET-CT, Mammography, CR/X-ray, ECG, ECHO, FNAC, biopsy, and other specialized investigations.
Assist physicians during contrast administration, invasive and minimally invasive procedures, and patient monitoring.
Ensure proper positioning, comfort, and safety of patients throughout diagnostic examinations.
Procedure Coordination and Workflow Management
Coordinate patient flow between registration, imaging suites, procedure rooms, and recovery areas to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensure readiness and availability of required consumables, contrast agents, biopsy kits, and emergency equipment prior to procedures.
Monitor patients post-procedure and promptly report any adverse events to the attending physician.
Documentation, Compliance, and Reporting
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, consent forms, procedure records, and checklists.
Ensure strict compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including PNDT Act, radiation safety norms, infection control policies, and institutional guidelines.
Support report validation workflows and ensure timely organization and dispatch of diagnostic reports.
Laboratory and Specimen Management
Coordinate collection, labeling, documentation, and transport of samples for FNAC, biopsy, and laboratory investigations in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Ensure specimen integrity and traceability at all stages of handling.
Quality Assurance and Patient Care
Adhere to patient safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and ethical practices.
Provide post-procedure instructions and patient education as needed and if required.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, internal audits, and accreditation activities related to NABL/NABH standards.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
