Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Chef to manage the hotel kitchen and ensure timely preparation and delivery of quality food to hotel guests.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, hygiene standards, and the ability to manage kitchen work efficiently during busy hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Prepare quality food according to hotel standards.
- Ensure food is prepared and served to guests on time.
- Maintain food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Plan and manage daily kitchen requirements.
- Monitor availability and proper use of kitchen ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Reduce food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Coordinate with hotel staff to ensure smooth food service.
- Handle kitchen responsibilities independently when required.
- Follow food safety and hotel hygiene standards.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of relevant experience as a Chef.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Good knowledge of Indian food and general kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage the kitchen independently.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
